ZUS, the national social insurance of Poland, has released information on the annual increase in Polish pension payments. As of March 1, the monthly payment has increased by 12.12%, which translates into a new monthly amount of 679.40 zĆoty, or approximately $172 USD (as of the date of this post). Since the pension is paid every third month, the new quarterly payment will be 2,038.20 zĆoty, or approximately $518 USD (as of the date of this post). This is an increase of approximately $22 USD monthly, or $66 USD quarterly and will be reflected in the payment of June 20.
ZUS will send out a letter to all Polish pension recipients in April, which should arrive some time in May or early June. We will post a translation of that letter then.
