ZUS announces raise of 5.5% on March 1

ZUS, the national social insurance institution of Poland, has announced that beneficiaries of the Polish pension will receive an expected annual raise as of March 1, 2025. This year, the raise is 5.5%, which means that the quarterly payment will increase from 2,038.20 złoty to 2,139.48 złoty. This is an increase of 101.28 złoty, which, as of February 27, 2025, is equivalent to approximately $26 USD*, resulting in a new quarterly payment for this year of approximately $541 USD*.

Those beneficiaries receiving the special centenarian pension (for turning 100 years old) will also see a 5.5% increase, resulting in a new monthly payment of 6,589.67 złoty, which as of February 27, is equivalent to approximately $1,665.16 USD*.

Beneficiaries will receive a letter some time in May detailing the increase. We will post a translation of the letter on our Website and publish another news update at that time.
